Notes pg 179-189 & 190-197

-architectural= indirect portraits
-setting is important
     -trees soften edge?
     -car lot distract viewer?
     -clouds
-sharp- smaller f stop, ISO 100
-more dark value - low key print
-more light value - high key print
-color- color & setting
- B/W - value, shape, texture
-lighting- deep blue 80A filter

-wide angle lens- wider lens - closer you are - the more distortion in the image
- perspective distortion appears as strong converging lines in a building, where the sides of the building angle in toward eachother instead of looking parallel as they are in reality
- capture shadows - pay attention to lines, shape. and value of objects shadow instead of the objects iteself
- interiors- as close as 4-20 feet
     - aperature down to between f/11 and f/22
- the higher the f stop - the more depth of field you get
- to get a lot of detail - slow film, a higher f stop = slower shutter
